John B. Garrett

Few men in the history of Tennessee Freemasonry have served the fraternity with such distinction as John B. Garrett. “Brother John” as he was affectionately called was the Worshipful Master of West Nashville Phoenix Lodge #131 in 1885 and Secretary from 1898 to 1911. He served as Grand Secretary for the Grand Lodge of Tennessee from 1895 - 1915.

The memorial below is a small testament to the incredible life he led and his contributions to Freemasonry.
